It's Our Driving Force!
Chad Brown's Battle Against Cancer
Many of you know my husband, Chad Brown, personally. If not, you may have followed his rise through poker over the years as one of the most successful all-around poker players on the circuit--garnering major results in almost every variation of the game. Although Chad's results are quite impressive (with over $3.5 million in tournament winnings alone), he is MOST well known as one of the nicest guys you could ever be seated across from at the poker table. The odds are pretty good that if you've been around him during a tournament, you've probably noticed him happily engaged in conversation at the table. You might have also noted throughout the years that he has a passion for and commitment to personal fitness. Unfortunately, despite being one of the nicest and healthiest people I know, Chad was recently diagnosed with dedifferentiated liposarcoma - a rare and aggressive form of cancer. It is for stories like Chad's and countless other people who are in the battle for life, is why the Rally to End Cancer exists!
The thought of anyone suffering from cancer is simply an unacceptable reality. It is this reality that drives the Rally to End Cancer organizers, our fundraising stars - the drivers, sponsors and charitable celebrities to unite and make a difference, one person at a time.
Your support will allow us the ability to continue on the road towards a cure. When we come together and choose to fight cancer, we are making a difference in the lives of people currently in the battle for life.
Your act of kindness and generosity makes an essential difference to our mission.

Together we can "Rally to End Cancer".
Features
March 16 & 17, 2012
The Scavenger Cup is guaranteed to provide participants with the experience of a lifetime
while giving cancer patients the experience of LIFE!
Register online as a Rally Driver. Once you are registered, our simple, secure, online fundraising system will guide you through the process of soliciting pledges and donations for your fundraising efforts. In order to qualify and draft a celebrity navigator, you and/or your team must fundraise the minimum $25,000 fundraising goal. Remember, the highest fundraising team gets to draft their celebrity navigator first!
"The Qualifiers" Celebrity Draft Party
The Rally will kick off with "The Qualifiers" Celebrity Draft Party. This cocktail reception provides Rally Drivers with the opportunity to meet and recruit their desired Celebrity Navigator. The premium drafting positions will be determined by the amount of dollars raised through pledges and sponsorship. The Rally Driver who raises the most money will be first to select their Celebrity Navigator. Media will be present.
"Start Your Engines" Brunch
Adrenaline will be running high as Rally Drivers and Celebrity Navigators meet the following day at the "Start Your Engines" Brunch.
Rally teams will receive a Driver's Manual and their first clue. Media will be present.
The "Rally"
Fuelled by an extraordinary schedule of Pit Stops at some of the most exclusive establishments and venues in the city, Rally Drivers and Celebrity Navigators will embark on a journey from one clue to the next.
Fun and innovation are the call of the day. The skills participants require to be part of the winning team include power of observation, the ability to read a map and figure out challenging clues, and of course, a true love of driving. Scores are determined by a combination of successfully completed tasks and the accumulation of assigned points. Thinking fast, not driving fast gets you across the "Finish Line".
"The Winner's Circle" Gala Dinner - "Jeans & Jewels"
The final lap of the Rally is "The Winner's Circle" Gala Dinner. Rally Drivers, Celebrity Navigators, sponsors and invited guests will mingle in an intimate setting, revel in memories from the past two days while enjoying an incredible dinner, first class entertainment, a live auction and an awards ceremony.
†All participants must have their own vehicle that meets event criteria and safety guidelines, plus hold a valid driver's license, insurance and possess all ownership and legal documentation.
